Digger Tutorial, Build, Tips And Trick Mobile Legends (Guide)
In this pahlawan tutorial, we will learn how to play using support heroes that are starting to be forgotten, Diggie. Diggie is actually a support pahlawan who is quite an OP but unfortunately not so popular in ranked mode because of the emergence of pahlawan support auto tires like Angela, and the many skins + rework updates for MLBB favorite support hero, Rafaela.
Diggie is the best support pahlawan for crowd control, he can give CCs to opponents while giving 1 team protection to enemy CC heroes, so use this pahlawan if there are many CC heroes who are annoying in the opponent to maximize their role in the game, besides pahlawan this cannot provide a significant DPS so it will be very, very dependent on the team compared to other support heroes. First, we need to know Diggie's advantages and disadvantages first.
Diggie advantages:
- The best anti CC pahlawan support, Diggie's main strength is in the ultimate skill that can provide immune crowd control on all team heroes around it, so this skill will be very, very useful in critical moments like team fight/team war 5 vs 5 especially on phase late game where CC skills are often the winner.
- A very good pahlawan locker, skill 2 can stop 1 opponent's movements drastically, with this skill Gesti heroes like Fanny and Hayabusa will be easily snatched.
- High damage in the early game, skill 1 has a base damage that is quite sick at the beginning of the game, unfortunately, this is the only Diggie weapon to attack / damage and even during the mid-late game this skill is not very painful (and also easy to avoid). Skill 1 is only useful for cleaning minions and disturbing enemies when defense/push tower.
- Hero support lane is very good, when you die Diggie will be an egg that can walk and damage the enemy around a little, this small damage is useful to stop the enemy regen effect including preventing them from trying to recall / return to the base, other than that we can respawn in any lane without having to go back and forth to the base so it will be very effective when pushing lane because there is no need to waste time walking from base to enemy tower.
Diggie deficiency:
- Very dependent on the team, even for jungle he must be accompanied by other heroes in order to quickly farm because the damage is small and skill 1 is also long so he relies heavily on other heroes to be effective in the game.
- Less useful if there are fewer CC heroes on the opponent, this pahlawan is indeed an anti CC specialist but unfortunately he is very soft and vulnerable to ganks because he does not have any escape/movement skills, so if there are lots of nimble heroes and burst damage, the opponent's CC pahlawan less) then he becomes less effective in the game.
- Do not have significant damage, the skill 1 is really quite sick at the beginning of the game, but in the mid-late game don't expect much on this pahlawan damage, the only thing that can be relied on is the ability of the single CC sasaran of skill 2 and CC immune from skill 3 of them.
- Potential passive skill blunders, when we try to disturb the enemy in the form of eggs (egg mode) there is a possibility that we respawn in the wrong situation (in the middle of the opposing team) which results in us being a feeder and dying silly, so pay attention to the cooldown time of respawn that is, if you want to live again look for a safe place to respawn.
Diggie tips on build items:
- My suggestions for the Diggie build don't follow the standard build role support item tips in general, because this pahlawan doesn't have significant magic damage, only skill 1 has high damage but this skill in practice is easily avoided, so it's best not to waste gold there is to buy magical damage items.
- Diggie build item tips should be enough to focus on cooldown reduction as much as possible (CDR 40%) and defense items that are adjusted to the enemy attributes.
- The above build is what I think is the most ideal because we have a CDR of 35% (an additional 5% CDR we can get from the emblem) and high defense (physical / magic defense items are adjusted to the composition of the opposing team).
- We can also use def magic Cursed Helmet items that are useful for dealing damage around us, this item is useful if you want to add extra damage while in egg/egg mode, but I recommend that you remember to die to maximize the potential of this item (but to just have fun this item is very effective to disturb the enemy team). For example, you can see the following snippet.
A battle spell that is best suited for Diggie is Healing and Flicker.
- Use Healing to recover your cell phone and where on the team when it's critical, it's pretty good when we combine the shield effect of skill 3 to give extra protection.
- Use Flicker to run away when caught/hit by a gank, because Diggie does not have a good movement/escape mechanism, this spell will be far more useful and recommended to use.
For emblems, we can use Custom Magic or Custom Support emblems.
Diggie is great for fighting the following heroes:
- All pahlawan tanks (especially super crowd control tanks like Akai)
- Fanny
- Hayabusa
- Gusion
- Chou
- Ruby
- Martis
- Nana
- Aurora
- Moskov
- Hanabi
- thamuz
Diggie is quite weak against some of the following heroes:
Tips & tricks for Diggie's guide hero:
- Try to be at least lane together with 1 other friend's hero, both when farming or push a tower, remember this pahlawan is very dependent on teamwork.
- Our main task is to support and back up friends from behind, spam skill 1 to poke and limit enemy movements, use skill 2 on the opponent's heroes or while pursuing a fleeing enemy, then save skill 3 for the right moment like when Akai / Tigreal enemy teams put out the ultimate skill, when our team was hit by mass CC from freeze Aurora, and the moment where our team needed extra protection from CC and additional shields to survive.
- We recommend that you only use Diggie when there are at least 1 mass CC pahlawan in the enemy team (such as Akai, Hylos, Aurora, Ruby, Hanabi) and the pahlawan who needs to be locked because it is too nimble like Fanny, Hayabusa, and Gusion. If the opposing team has a few CC heroes (for example there is only 1 CC pahlawan and that is even a single target) then using Diggie will be less effective, what we have to pay attention to is the crowd control composition on the opposing team, if it feels our team will have difficulty dealing with control the opposing team (losing the CC) then we make this pahlawan as an option.
- If you die and become an egg, try to see if there are opposing heroes who are doing HP regen or recall, we can disrupt it by approaching it and spam the existing skills, even though it does not provide damage which means at least the regen/recall effect will fail.
- Be diligent in watching Diggie player's top videos and live streaming so that you can learn and master this pahlawan even better.
